How To Measure Your Home Lawn

All lawn areas can be divided up into various common shapes. It is then easy to estimate your requirements using the following formulas.

Measuring a Square / Rectangle

To measure the area of a square or rectangle just multiply the width(A) by the height(B).

Measuring a Circle

To measure the area of a circle multiply the radius (or diameter divided by 2) by itself then by 3.14.

Measuring a Triangle

To measure the area of a triangle multiply the height(A) by the base width(B) divided by 2.
