Pump Controllers FAQs
A water pump is a device used to move or transfer water efficiently for various applications, such as irrigation, drainage or household supply. It creates pressure through a motor-driven impeller, drawing water from a source and pushing it through pipes or hoses. Reliable and versatile, water pumps ensure consistent water flow where needed.
Different types of water pumps include:
- Pressure pumps — Boost water pressure for household and irrigation use.
- Sump pumps — Remove water from basements or low-lying areas.
- Transfer pumps — Efficiently move water between tanks or locations.
- Jet pumps — Draw water from wells or deep sources.
- Tank-to-mains systems — Integrate rainwat
Yes, water pumps are perfect for draining pools or ponds efficiently. At SunshowerOnline, we stock a range of pond filtration and maintenance products, including pond filter pumps and pond air pumps, designed to manage water movement and quality.
